Hello! I'm Victor, a Predoctoral Research Fellow in Economics at Columbia University under Eric Verhoogen and Joseph Stiglitz.

I hold a B.A. in Economics from the National Autonomous University of Mexico and previously completed an exchange quarter at UC Davis. I was also a predoc at the University of St Andrews for David Escamilla Guerrero.

I'm particularly interested in research involving labor, inequality, firms, productivity, mechanism design, and experimental design.

I have worked as a research assistant at SHCP, CONAHCYT, and as a teaching assistant at the Faculty of Economics at UNAM.

I aim to pursue an academic career (that hopefully involves tenure) after my current appointments.
